I'm excited to announce Bloom v1.1.0 with a completely redesigned user interface! As someone who was frustrated with Loom's 5-minute time limits and resolution restrictions on their free tier, I built Bloom to be the screen recorder I actually wanted to use - unlimited, high-quality, and completely free.

The new UI focuses on simplicity and functionality. Here's what's been completely redesigned:
A Fresh, Clean Look
- Added the Bloom logo to the top - it's a small touch, but it makes everything feel more polished
- Used that signature yellow color (
#ffce07) consistently throughout the app for a cohesive look - Added a nice glass-like effect that feels modern without getting in your way
Streamlined Controls
- The collapsed status bar now sits vertically and takes up way less screen space
- Everything is spaced out better so you can actually find what you're looking for
- Made all those little status indicators smaller - they used to be so distracting while recording
Smart File Management
One of the most requested features is now here:
Recording Folder Access
- After completing a recording, a "📁 Open recordings folder" link appears automatically
- One-click access to your Desktop folder where all recordings are saved
- The link intelligently hides when starting a new recording to keep the interface clean
